Iringa Orphan Projects

We are also in association with local churches requesting more information as to the extent of the number of orphans within the association villages, to establish how we may best contribute to their welfare while working with existing social and support structures. Father Francis takes care of 14 orphans. 6 stay in the parish and 8 stay at home with relatives. Other orphans have been turned away due to lack of funds.

Father Gerva's school for Iringa orphans and street children. 165 students with 10 teachers. offering these children secondary education using the church buildings as classrooms. Father Gerva's dream is to build a boarding school for the boys and girls on land already acquired by the church. We would like to help him realise this dream.
